Fire in Dhërmi/Dwellings are at risk

A fire was registered in the tourist village of Dhërmi this Thursday afternoon.

It is reported that the flames are spreading rapidly, with the help of the wind, and are heading towards some apartments in Gjileka.

There are about 30 apartments in Gjileka, which are at risk of fire.

From the preliminary information, it is suspected that the fire is intentional. Firefighters are currently working to bring the flames under control.

Regarding the fire, there is also a reaction from the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, who informs that the Armed Forces have also been engaged.

"Fires in the country, fire services and the Armed Forces are working to put out a fire in a Dhërmi forest area", declared the minister./ CNA
