The police prosecuted 3 people in Durrës, who used their children aged 1-3 to beg in the beach area.

Concretely, the citizens with the initials S. Sh., A. S. and HS were prosecuted in a free state, for the criminal offense of "Mistreatment of a minor".

The materials for this case were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further action.

The Durrës Police appeals to parents and citizens not to use minors for economic activities inappropriate to their age, as in addition to being an illegality punishable in the Criminal Code, this action also damages the psycho-emotional health of the child./ CNA
