Prostitution den discovered in Tirana/ Three foreign nationals arrested, 6 other

A rented apartment where prostitution was practiced was discovered on "Zogu i parë" boulevard in Tirana.

After the operation was finalized, three foreign nationals were arrested. Six people suspected of having benefited from this criminal activity were also prosecuted.

Police have seized a sum of money, suspected to have been obtained from prostitution, as well as 4 cell phones.

Tirana/The police operation codenamed "Rental house" is finalized.

In a rented apartment on "Zogu i perë" boulevard, 3 foreign nationals were arrested for practicing prostitution.

Criminal proceedings are being initiated against 6 citizens who are suspected of having benefited from this criminal activity.

A sum of money, suspected to have been obtained from prostitution, as well as 4 cell phones, was seized.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Station No. 3, in continuation of their operational work to crack down on cases of the adaptation of rented apartments for the practice of prostitution, finalized the police operation "Rental house".

As part of the operation, Chinese citizens TL and YJ, as well as Thai citizen BS, were arrested. The materials were also referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against 6 citizens.

The 3 arrested women are suspected of having rented an apartment on "Zogu i perë" boulevard, where they practiced prostitution, an activity from which the 6 defendants are suspected of having benefited.

Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, work continues to identify and bring to criminal responsibility other citizens who may be involved in this case.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action. /CNA
