Three people have been criminally prosecuted in Peshkopi for illegally trading pyrotechnics.

During the searches in the stores, boxes containing a quantity of fireworks and capsules were found, which were seized by the services of the Dibër Police Commissariat.

Controls to prevent the illegal and dangerous trade of pyrotechnic substances by unauthorized entities continue.

Following the implementation of the plan of measures, drafted on the eve of the end-of-year holidays, with the objective of preventing and cracking down on cases of possession of pyrotechnic substances for the purpose of their illegal sale, the services of the Dibër Police Commissariat identified 3 shops that were carrying out this illegal activity.

For these cases, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizens OD, AK and DM, after boxes of pyrotechnics were found in their stores, which were kept with the intention of selling them, in violation of the established rules and criteria.

The checks continue.

The procedural materials were referred to the Dibra Prosecutor's Office for further action.

The Dibra Police appeal to all citizens not to use or trade pyrotechnics in violation of the established rules and criteria, as this activity, which poses a risk to their lives and health, is punishable by law. / CNA
