Journalist Klodiana Lala spoke this evening about the "Matrix" platform, used by organized crime.

The journalist underlined that it will depend on the courts if the data from this application can be used as evidence or evidence in criminal proceedings. 

"I made a request to Europol officials. They responded in ten minutes. They confirmed that Albanian is among the languages ??used. The case is being handled by the French and Dutch authorities. 'Matrix' was intercepted only in the last three months. Data was copied that can be considered legal, only the last three months. 

It was first discovered by the Dutch authorities in 2021. A Dutch journalist was killed and several people were arrested. This application was discovered on the phone of one of the arrested, but it was encrypted. It took cooperation with the French and the Europol task force to decrypt the app. Legitimate data has only been collected in the last three months.

It also depends on the stance that the court will take. In the last months there are 2.3 million messages. There is a difference with SKY being intercepted since day zero and considered legitimate as evidence leading to evidence. Meanwhile, 'Matrix' is the duty of the authorities. There is still no investigative process related to Matrix.
