On Monday, doctors, representatives of the State Police and the Directorate of Prisons meet in a special commission. They will assess whether the 14-year-old who killed his peer should be transferred to the Kavaja prison hospital or to a cell.

The health condition of the minor, who is currently hospitalized in a private hospital in Tirana, will also be assessed.

The 14-year-old has been sentenced to "imprisonment" by the Court of Tirana for the charge of "murder in qualifying circumstances", while it is not yet known how many years of imprisonment will be the punishment he will suffer. The law provides that due to his age, he will be sentenced to up to 12 years in prison.
