The police have arrested two people for the double murder, registered yesterday evening in Velipoja.

It is reported that 2 employees of the authors' hotel, citizens with the initials MP and ZZ, are in handcuffs, suspected of being collaborators.

The authors of the event are suspected to be the two brothers GF and EF

Meanwhile, the victims have been identified as citizens with the initials EI and AH. The latter died in the hospital due to serious gun wounds.

Regarding last night's event, in Velipoja, where citizens AH and EI were shot dead, we inform you that:

As a result of quick and professional investigative actions, carried out immediately after the event:
- The Department for the Investigation of Serious Crimes of the Shkodra Local Police Directorate arrested the MP citizen, 29 years old, resident of Shkodra;
- in cooperation with the services of the Lezha Police, citizen ZZ, 26 years old, resident of Dibër, was detained.

These 2 citizens, employees in a bar near the place where last night's event took place, are suspected of being involved in the conflict between citizens EF, GF, AH and EI.

Citizen ZZ, around 11:20 p.m., presented himself to receive treatment at the regional hospital of Lezha, slightly injured in the leg, with a firearm. He is suspected to have been injured during the shooting.

The services of the Shkoder Local Police Directorate and its dependent structures, supported by groups of the National Security Force, Shkoder Unit, are intensively pursuing the search for the location, capture and imprisonment of EF and GF citizens.

Also, under the direction of the Shkodra Prosecutor's Office, investigations are being carried out and any evidence is being recorded that will enable the legal documentation of the circumstances of this event, as well as the individualization of the criminal responsibility of the 2 detained citizens./ CNA
