Theft in city businesses/ 2 arrested in Korça, evidence seized

A 28-year-old and a 29-year-old were arrested in connection with two cases of thefts at businesses in the city of Korça.

Citizen V. I has been previously convicted for the same activity.

While citizen AZ, 29 years old, was keeping the stolen products in his apartment, where he was under house arrest, items stolen from the 28-year-old.

A stolen television was also seized during the operation.

The services of the Korça Police Commissariat, in continuation of their work to prevent thefts, uncover those that occurred previously and bring the perpetrators to justice, after a thorough investigative work, identified, captured and detained the wanted citizen:

VI, 28 years old, resident of Korça, for the criminal offense of "Theft committed more than once", with a previous criminal record in the field of property theft.

And they arrested the citizen in flagrante delicto:

AZ, 29 years old, resident of Korça, for the criminal offense of "Appropriation of money or goods derived from a criminal offense or criminal activity", previously convicted of production and sale of narcotics.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that citizen VI, 28 years old, is the author of the theft of 3 televisions from a citizen's premises and a sum of money from a bakery, in neighborhood no. 7, Korça. Also, during the search carried out in the apartment of citizen AZ (who was under "House Arrest" security measure), one of the televisions stolen from citizen VI was found, which was seized as material evidence.

Work continues to document other thefts, events in which these citizens may have been implicated.
