The criminal incident in a family in Tirana is prevented

The Tirana police have arrested a 34-year-old man with the initials AM after he locked his wife in the apartment, which he was monitoring with a camera, and abused her. 

Police Notification: 

Thanks to the timely response of the services of Police Station No. 3, a possible criminal event is prevented in a family.

The 34-year-old man was caught and imprisoned after locking his wife in the apartment, which he was monitoring with a camera, and also abused her.

Services of Police Station No. 3, after receiving information that a citizen had abused his wife, as well as kept her locked up, in the monitoring of the cameras that he had installed inside the apartment, they immediately organized the work for the complete legal documentation of the case and putting of the suspected perpetrator, before criminal liability.

As a result, thanks to the timely response of the services of Police Station No. 3 AM citizen, 34 years old, resident of Kodër Institut, was arrested.

From the investigative actions carried out, it has emerged that the 34-year-old man has committed violence against his wife, who he kept locked up in their apartment where he had installed cameras to monitor her movements.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for further actions./ CNA
