As part of Operation "Coordination", a case of narcotics cultivation was uncovered in the village of Berzanë in the Zejmen Administrative Unit.

The checks revealed a plot of 150 narcotic plants.

Also arrested in flagrante delicto was 45-year-old ZK, who was taking care of the narcotic plants.

 

Police notification

The services of the Lezha Police Commissariat, as a result of controls and investigations carried out with proactive methods, within the framework of the "Coordination" operational plan, uncovered a case of attempted cultivation of narcotic plants.

During the territory search, in the village of Berzanë, Zejmen Administrative Unit, a plot with 150 suspected narcotic plants, of the cannabis sativa variety, was discovered.

The plants were destroyed by burning, while some of them were seized as material evidence.

During the intervention, citizen Zef Kola, 45 years old, resident of the village of Berzanë, was caught red-handed taking care of the plants on the plot and arrested for the criminal offense of "Cultivation of narcotic plants".

Work continues to fully document this criminal activity and identify other persons involved.
