Shot at vehicle/ 33-year-old arrested

Police have arrested a 33-year-old man who yesterday fired a gun at a vehicle carrying 3 people.

A. Rr., who shot at the vehicle in which NH, 29 years old, PH, 27 years old, and D. Rr., 29 years old, were traveling, has been arrested.

The three young men who were in the vehicle were also prosecuted for allegedly using violence against the 33-year-old arrested man.

Shkodra/Police intervention prevents the escalation of the conflict between several citizens.

A 33-year-old man was arrested and handcuffed after he fired a pistol at a vehicle carrying 3 citizens in the village of Theth.         

The 3 citizens are being prosecuted at large because they exercised physical violence against the 33-year-old man.     

The firearm, a pistol with combat ammunition, was seized.  

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Shkodra Police Commissariat, after receiving a report that a vehicle had been shot in the village of Theth, have organized work in collaboration with the specialists of the Serious Crimes Investigation Section, to clarify the circumstances of the case and identify the citizens involved.   

Following the actions for the case:

- citizen A. Rr., 33 years old, resident of the village of Theth, was arrested;   

- The proceedings on release were initiated for citizens NH, 29 years old, PH, 27 years old and D. Rr., 29 years old, all three residents of the village of Theth.  

From the investigations it is suspected that yesterday afternoon, for weak motives, citizen A. Rr. fired a pistol at a vehicle driven by citizen NH and passengers citizens PH and D. Rr. The shooting only caused material damage to the vehicle. 

Subsequently, these 3 citizens exercised physical violence against the 33-year-old.   

 

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra, for further action./ CNA
