Deceived the citizen by presenting himself as SPAK prosecutor/ The 55-year-old

In the investigative show "Stop", a case of fraud was reported by a person who had embezzled significant sums of money from a citizen, presenting himself as a SPAK prosecutor.

After the denunciation, the State Police was put into motion.

Specialists of the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Section made it possible to arrest 55-year-old Vebi Brahimaj, a resident of Tirana.

He is charged with the criminal offenses of "Fraud" and "Appropriation of a state title or office".       

We recall that in the investigative show, a woman denounced the case of fraud that happened 10 months ago, in October 2022.

Brahimaj took 10 thousand Euros from the citizen. He introduced himself as a prosecutor at SPAK and promised to double his money in two weeks, as he needed it for a tender for police uniforms./ CNA
