Threatening police officers with a gun/ 39-year-old arrested in Durrës

Durrës Police announced today that a 39-year-old man was arrested and handcuffed after threatening Municipal Police officers with a sports weapon, introducing himself as an officer of law enforcement structures.

The police seized the sporting weapon (pistol).

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Durrës Police Station arrested citizen GK, 39 years old, resident of Tirana, in flagrante delicto, after during a conflict for weak motives, he threatened Municipal Police officers with a sports pistol, introducing himself as an employee of law enforcement structures.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further action. /CNA
