Prostitution is under attack in Tirana/ How two Chinese women used foreign girls

The police have cracked down on criminal activity in the field of illegal traffic and prostitution, thanks to the coded police operation "Red light 2".

The investigation showed that two Chinese women with the initials YY and ND were recruiting Chinese and Filipino citizens through social networks. They accommodated the girls in a rented facility and then using the website "Escort Tirana" used them for prostitution.

At the moment when the recruited girls wanted to withdraw from this criminal activity, the two Chinese women, through the photos published on the page "Escort Tirana", exerted violence against them and pressured the families of the recruited girls.

During the investigative actions, it was found that the ND citizen, by means of coercion through threats, by pressuring her through photographs, took the amount of 15,000 euros from one of the exploited girls, after the latter asked to give up from this criminal activity.

As a result, the 52-year-old woman with the initials YY, resident in Tirana, was arrested for the criminal offenses of "Exploitation of prostitution", "Maintaining premises for prostitution", and "Other intentional damage".

The 38-year-old ND, resident in Tirana, is also wanted for the criminal offenses of "Exploiting prostitution", "Owning premises for prostitution", "Extortion through threats or violence to give property", and "Other damages with will".

The police have criminally prosecuted 7 foreign nationals for practicing prostitution.

As material evidence, 4,500 euros profited from this criminal activity, 1 laptop, 3 mobile devices, 2 passports, and 3 notebooks with notes were seized./ CNA
