This Wednesday, one of the most wanted and dangerous persons in Albania was extradited from Greece.

It is about citizen Kujtim Demiri, who was convicted of child trafficking.

He was arrested in 2023 in the neighboring state.

On February 1, 2010, the Court of First Instance for Serious Crimes sentenced him to 15 years in prison, for the criminal offense "Trafficking of minors", provided for by article 128/b/2, of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, on January 6, 2018, he was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Tirana.

According to the decision of the Court of Serious Crimes, Kujtim Demiri took the minor child HS from Albania to Greece and used him to beg in Greece under the influence of violence./ CNA
