The Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of the DVP Elbasan, in cooperation with the Librazhd Police Station, arrested the citizen V. Rr., 41 years old, a resident of Prrenjas.

The arrest of the 41-year-old was made after the report of an employee of the forest service, in the municipality of Prrenjas, that on 13.06.2024, this citizen had punched him, because of his duty.

Following the police actions for this case, controls were carried out in the 41-year-old's apartment, where 400 liters of diesel and 140 liters of lubricant oil for vehicles, suspected of being smuggled, were found.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction, for further actions, for the criminal offenses "Assaults due to duty", "Smuggling of goods subject to excise duty" and "Storage or storage of contraband goods". ./ CNA
