The police have cracked a case of fraud thanks to the "Banker" operation.

As part of this operation, a 32-year-old man with the initials KB, a resident of Tirana, was arrested on his own initiative.

He is charged with the criminal offenses of "Forgery of seals, stamps or forms", "Fraud" with serious consequences, and "Abuse of office".

The 32-year-old man, through fraud, abusing his duty, took the amount of 108,000 euros from the 54-year-old FM, by falsifying the bank's notarial statement in order to appropriate this amount and the property that was to be purchased from her.

After the notarial deed for the purchase of the property was signed, the 54-year-old woman should have been the sole owner of this property, while the UK citizen sold the property that was placed as collateral for the account of a second-level bank. 

Meanwhile, the materials were passed to the Prosecution for further actions./ CNA
