The Court of Appeal has placed Nehat Kulla's son, Robert Kulla, under house arrest.

Robert Kulla is accused of having violated his stepmother, who was provided with a protection order.

On the other hand, Robert Kulla has denied the accusations.

The conflict between them started over the villa of the late Nehat Kulla in the Tufina area of ??Tirana.

NOTICE OF THE COURT OF APPEALS:

Referring to previous reports in the media, the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction informs the following:

Crime Investigation Specialists of the Police Station No. 4, on the report of the citizen with the initials L. K, have made it possible to arrest the citizen with the initials Robert Kulla, who is suspected of having committed violence against his father's wife, who has been granted a protection order.

The Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana has conducted the trial related to the legal evaluation of the arrest in flagrante delicto and the assignment of the security measure "arrest in prison", for the person under investigation, the citizen with the initials Robert Kulla, suspected of committing of the criminal offenses of "Domestic violence" and "Self-judgment", provided by articles 130/a/4 and 277 of the Criminal Code.

The Court of First Instance of Tirana General Jurisdiction, with decision no. 1443 Reg. Them, dated 03.06.2024, decided:

- The assessment as illegal of the arrest in flagrante delicto of the RK citizen

- The appointment as a measure of personal security against the person under investigation R. K that of "arrest in prison", provided by article 238 of the Criminal Code. Criminal, as a suspect for committing the criminal offenses of "Domestic violence" and "Self-judgment", provided by articles 130/a/4 and 277 of the Criminal Code.

- The judicial police are ordered to immediately take the person under RK investigation to a detention institution

The case on appeal was examined on the basis of the appeal made by the person under investigation with the initials R. K, who requested the annulment of the decision, the immediate release since he did not commit the criminal offense. Alternatively, the setting of a more lenient insurance measure.

At the end of the trial, today on 14.06.2024, the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction, composed of the panel with Judge Mr. Fuat Vjerdha decided:

- Approval of decision no. 1443 Regj.Them, date 03.06.2024 of the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Tirana with the following changes:- Assigning to the suspect R. K the security measure "house arrest", provided by article 237 of the Criminal Code .Criminal, ordering the suspect R. K not to leave his apartment...

- The immediate release of the suspect R. K from IEVP "Jordan Misja" Tirana is ordered, if he is not held for any other legal reason./ CNA
