Accident on the Lezhë-Shkodër axis/ Taxi driver in serious condition

An accident was reported during the night on the Lezhë-Shkodra axis, near the first junction at the entrance to the city of Lezhë.

The taxi collided with a truck collecting waste in the area. As a result of the strong collision, the taxi driver was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extracted with difficulty to be transported in serious condition to the Lezha hospital.

Meanwhile, the police have launched investigations to clarify the causes and circumstances of this accident. The Lezhë-Milot and Lezhë-Shkodër axes continue to be black spots where accidents are recorded every day, some with fatal consequences.
