Decomposed corpse in Kolonjë/ New details emerge from the incident

New details emerge from the discovery this afternoon of a decomposed body in Kolonjë.

According to the latest information, it is learned that the victim's body will be sent for forensic examination in Tirana.

This is because DNA samples must be taken in order to reveal the identity of the victim, while an anthropological examination will also be carried out to determine the time of death, since due to high temperatures, death may have occurred even faster than the 6 months initially suspected. It has been confirmed by the police that the body has no external injuries, which leads to the rejection of the trail of any crime. It is previously suspected that it may have been a natural death.

Another fact worth mentioning is that so far no one has been interested in any missing relatives or family members.

Regarding the discovery of the body, it is reported that a resident of the area was harvesting wheat with a combine harvester and saw the body, immediately notifying the police.
