Murder in Gjakova/ The perpetrator surrenders to the police

The perpetrator of the murder in Gjakova has surrendered to the police. The serious incident took place in the morning hours in a bar, where after a conflict the owner shot two people with a gun.

One of them died at the scene, while the other was injured. Evidence was seized at the scene, including several shell casings and a cold weapon.

Meanwhile, the perpetrator also handed over to the police station the suspected weapon of the crime, a TT pistol with a magazine, which was seized as material evidence.

During questioning, the perpetrator refused to talk about the crime. By decision of the prosecutor for serious crimes, he was ordered to be detained for 48 hours.

The case has been classified as "aggravated murder" and "unauthorized possession of weapons," while investigations continue to uncover the full circumstances of the crime. /CNA
