Sofia, the Protocol between North Macedonia and Bulgaria is signed

The foreign ministers of North Macedonia and Bulgaria signed the second Protocol between the two neighboring countries on Sunday in Sofia, which enables North Macedonia to open the way to negotiations with the European Union. The meeting comes a day after the approval in the Parliament of North Macedonia of the French proposal. The protocol is part of the Good Neighbor Agreement between the two countries reached in 2017.
