Journalist Armand Bajram has recently found himself in a problematic situation.

It indicates that an unauthorized person has opened a fake electronic address with his name and surname and is using the address to send requests for information to various justice institutions.

Bajrami says this is an almost perfect plan with unclear goals.

According to him, the concern is serious, since this person, through a forged address, can communicate with other persons or institutions, under his name, or that of the television station where he works, A2CNN, placing him in unsafe, possibly even criminal, situations.

The journalist informs that he has notified the relevant authorities and requests that anyone not consider messages that may come from the address [email protected], even though it is accompanied by his identity card.

A few weeks ago, an unauthorized person opened a fake e-mail address with my first and last name from a domain in which I do not have an account, [email protected].

He is using this to send requests for information to various law enforcement agencies.

In the emails where he claims to be Armand Bajrami, a journalist at A2CNN, he attached a photocopy of my ID, which I don't know how he obtained, my phone number as well as the official address of #A2CNN television where I work.

After learning about these episodes, with concern I hastened to file a criminal report with the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana and Elbasan, territories where the emails arrived.

I left the copy of my identity card only in public or private institutions, where (in principle and according to the law) my personal data must be protected.

The concern is serious, since this person, through a forged address, can communicate with other persons or institutions, under my name, or that of A2CNN television, placing me in unsafe, possibly even criminal, situations.

While I trust that the authorities to whom I have addressed the concern will do their job, I ask anyone who follows me here not to consider messages that may come from the address [email protected], even though it is associated with my credit card identity. Thank you!/ CNA
