The criminal group in Britain is destroyed / Drugs worth 130 million pounds are seized

During a nationwide mega-operation, British police have seized up to 130 million pounds of cannabis plants and arrested almost 1,000 people.

More than 180,000 cannabis plants were discovered in raids in England and Wales in June.

Police also seized 20 firearms, £636,000 in cash and 20kg of cocaine, worth around £1m.

The mega-operation is being described as the "most significant" of its kind ever carried out by UK law enforcement.

Some 182,422 plants were seized, worth an estimated £115-130 million.

Operation Mille targeted what law enforcement believe is a money game for organized crime gangs (OCGs) who are also involved in other offenses such as money laundering, Class A drug smuggling and violence.

Around 11,000 officers from all 43 police forces in England and Wales, as well as the National Crime Agency and Immigration Enforcement, coordinated more than 1,000 warrants in June.
