Anniversary of the Rahovec Epic/ Osmani: We bow with respect to the sacrifice of

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani shared a commemorative message this Saturday, which coincides with the anniversary of the Rahovec Epic.

"We bow with respect to the sacrifice of the KLA martyrs and martyrs," Osmani writes.

From July 17 to 26, 1998, the forces of the genocidal regime of Serbia killed and executed around 100 women, children and the elderly, most of whom were sheltering in the Sheh Myhedini tekke in Rahovec and the surrounding area.

Through a special message published by the Presidency, Osmani states that Rahovec is a wound, pain, but also a memory that inspires the battle for justice.

According to Osmani, the memory of the victims is eternal, while the voice for justice will never cease until it prevails. /CNA
