A businessman replaces Tsipras/Kasselakis, ready to form his team in the "Syriza" party

Stefanos Kasselakis is the winner of the elections in the largest opposition party in Greece, "Syriza" and the successor of Alexis Tsipras.

The Albanian-American businessman won convincingly against his rival Efi Ahtsioglou, a former minister in the 2015 government of the left.

The young politician has openly shown his sexual orientation. He was educated in the USA and has business ventures in the field of maritime transport. Among his main theses is the separation of the state and the church.

Greek media " Kathimerini " reports that Kasselakis has started to form his team. The person responsible for political affairs will be Manolis Kapnisakis. Dora Avgeri will assume the role of press representative and Giorgos Tsipras will lead the parliamentary group. 

Also, in his management team will be Nikos Pappas, Evangelos Apostolakis, Pavlos Polakis, Theodora Tzakri, Sokratis Famellos and Nasos Iliopoulos.
