The Committee for System Operations of the European Network of Electricity Transmission System Operators (ENTSO-E) will carry out a detailed investigation of the incident that occurred on the network in the south-eastern part of the electricity system of continental Europe and which caused a power outage electricity in most of Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as partially in Croatia.
The power problems occurred on Friday.
The ENTSO-E statement said that the affected systems restored power to their grids within about two hours with the aim of minimizing the impact of the outage on consumers.
"ENTSO-E is currently collecting all technical data relevant to this event from the affected TSOs and will provide more information as soon as possible," the statement said.
ENTSO-E said that, in accordance with the Incident Classification Scale methodology, ENTSO-E's System Operations Committee will carry out a detailed investigation of the event in the coming weeks, with the support of a panel of experts. /CNA
