Analyst's departure/ Kurti: He will be missed by the circle of

American Balkan affairs analyst Janusz Bugajski passed away today. Acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has also reacted to this and expressed his condolences.

Through a post on social media, Kurti writes that Bugajski contributed to raising awareness about the situation in the region.

Further, in his post, the Prime Minister of Kosovo writes that Bugajski is a figure who will be missed in the circle of intellectuals.

 

" Scientific researcher, author of many books and expert on foreign policy. The intellect of the American Janusz Bugajski, in addition to his professional integrity, makes him a respected figure among international scholars and analysts. As a good researcher of Balkan issues, he contributed with writings and analyses to increasing awareness of the situation in the region over several decades. Beyond the academic world, Bugajski also served in American administrations, while he was also active on television in various shows. I have met him several times over two decades starting from 1997: in combining competence with justice and humanity, analyst Bugajski is second to none.

"Janusz Bugajski is a figure who will be missed by the book, the media, the intellectual community and all of us. Heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased's loved ones, as well as to all those who knew him during his life ," Kurti wrote./CNA
