The Minister of the Interior from Ura e Ibri / "We have the capacity to provide security for the elections in the North"

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Xelal Sveçla, has insisted that they have the necessary capacities to provide security for the extraordinary elections in the four northern municipalities, which are scheduled for December 18.

The extraordinary elections in the north were announced after the resignation of the Serbs from the institutions of Kosovo. During yesterday, there were successive explosions in the municipal electoral commissions in the north.

The American ambassador in Kosovo, Jeff Hovenier, through a reaction today, emphasized that there are no proper conditions to hold the elections.

But Sveçla has said that he respects Hovenieri's position, however, according to him, the institutions of Kosovo decide on the holding of elections.
