The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has asserted that Crimea occupied by Russia should be returned to the country through diplomacy.

Zelensky said his country could not afford to lose the lives it would take to retake Crimea through military means.

Also, the Ukrainian President rejected any notion of any territory being occupied by Russia, saying "we cannot legally accept any occupied territory of Ukraine as Russian."

"We are ready to return Crimea diplomatically," Zelensky said.

Recently, US President Joe Biden has authorized Ukraine to use long-range weapons against Russian aggression.

Biden's decision has not been welcomed by the EU countries as according to them this could cause World War III.

On the other hand, Zelensky has said that the rockets will speak for themselves, despite the fact that he recently presented the "Peace Plan". /CNA
