Miroslav Lajçak will continue to be the EU emissary for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue until January 2025.

The news was made known by the Office for External Service of the EU, which writes that his mandate will be until the end of January.

As it was warned, the Council of the European Union has extended Lajcak's mandate to negotiate the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue. The decision was taken at the meeting of the ambassadors of the EU countries at the beginning of July, after the request made by the High Representative of the EU for Foreign and Security Policy, Josep Borrell. / CNA
