Today at 2:00 PM, a parliamentary session will be held to elect the new government of Kosovo.
The government session is being held on the last day of the constitutional mandate, after President Vjosa Osmani mandated Glauk Konjufca from the Vetëvendosje Movement on November 4 to form the new executive.
Konjfuca is expected to present a statement to MPs and introduce the new governing cabinet.
To form a government, emerging from the February 9 elections, the candidate for prime minister must receive the vote of confidence of at least 61 deputies.
Konjufca said he is seeking the support of MPs for his government, in order to avoid parliamentary elections in December and for the country to have an executive at least until April, when the country's new president should be elected.
Meanwhile, the leader of the LVV, Albin Kurti, has stated that he does not see even a theoretical possibility of reaching a coalition with other Albanian parties, which, according to him, have built a hybrid hatred towards him.
