Prime Minister Albin Kurti has promised that in the next 4-year mandate, the government will invest 1 million euros in the army.

He said that when you have a bad neighborhood, you have to have a good, loaded gun.

During his statement in Malisheva as part of the February 9 election campaign, Kurti stated that the training of soldiers abroad has tripled and that more will be invested in defense.

"When you have a bad neighbor, you have to have a good and full rifle. We have tripled the training of soldiers abroad. We have purchased "Bajraktar" drones, anti-tank weapons and in the next mandate we will invest 1 million euros for the army. We have purchased combat drones from America and in the next mandate we will support the army with 1 million euros. The KLA is sacred because it was created from the blood of martyrs." /CNA
