North Korea launches another ballistic missile

North Korea launched an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) on Thursday, but it failed mid-flight, South Korea's military says.

This ballistic missile is the seventh that Pyongyang has launched this year. This came amid concerns that the North Koreans will soon test a nuclear weapon.

The tensions come a day after the two Koreas fired missiles near each other's coasts for the first time.

Seoul acted in retaliation three hours after Pyongyang launched a missile that landed less than 60 kilometers from the South Korean city of Sokcho.
