The situation seems aggravated after almost a day has passed since the terrorist attack of Hamas against Israel.

At least 300 Israelis have been killed and thousands more wounded in Israel, officials said. 

Fighting continued throughout the day on Saturday, and a new round of rocket attacks hit Tel Aviv and other areas on Saturday evening.

In Gaza, at least 256 Palestinians have died and more than 1,700 have been injured, CNN reports citing the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) say warplanes have struck a compound in Gaza belonging to the head of Hamas's intelligence department./ CNA
