The Israeli attack in Gaza kills 8 people from the same family

An Israeli airstrike in the Gaza Strip has left at least eight people from the same family dead, Palestinian health officials said Tuesday.

Most of the dead in this attack are women and children, according to them.

The attack took place on Monday night and hit a house in the central neighborhood of Daraj in Gaza City, according to the emergency service of the Gaza Ministry of Health.

A father of three and the children's grandmother were among the bodies pulled from the rubble, according to the Associated Press.

The Israeli army has not yet commented on this attack.

Israel's war in Gaza has left more than 45,000 Palestinians dead, most of them women and children, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.

The Israeli army has said that it has killed more than 17,000 militants, without providing evidence of this.

The war in Gaza began when Hamas militants attacked southern Israel on October 7, 2023, killing around 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and kidnapping nearly 250 others.
