A 29-year-old woman threw her 11-month-old baby into a dam in Aliakmona, Greece. 

Greek media reports that she is charged with the intentional murder of her child. 

However, she denied to the authorities that she was the one who killed her child. 

"I did not kill the child. I don't know what happened", said the 29-year-old repeatedly.

Meanwhile, EL.AS has issued a statement about the tragic case of the dead baby, only 11 months old, who was found in the dam of Aliakmonas.

As reported, the Alexandria Security Department was informed by the woman's relatives that the day before she left with her one-year-old child) from the house where they lived and returned the next day without the baby.

The woman allegedly took a taxi from the village of Stavros Imathias on December 31 with the baby in her arms and headed towards the dam where she threw it into the water.
