Evropa ndalon naftën ruse lidhur me agresionin në Ukrainë

Bashkimi Evropian ka filluar të zbatojë një vendim për ndalimin e importit të naftës që vjen nga Rusia. Duke filluar nga dita e sotme (e dielë), 27 vendet e Bashkimit Evropian kanë ndërmarrë hapin për të ulur më tej varësinë e tyre energjetike nga Moska.

Ky hap synon gjithashtu të ulë të ardhurat që siguron Kremlini nga karburantet fosile, si ndëshkim lidhur me agresionin e tij në Ukrainë.

Ndalimi i shtohet një tjetër mase të ndërmarrë së fundmi për t'i vendosur një tavan çmimit të naftës ruse, për të cilin u ra dakord nga Grupi i Shtatëshes.

Qëllimi është lejimi i naftën ruse që të vazhdojë të rrjedhë në vende si Kina dhe India por të shmangë, një rritje të papritur të çmimeve, që do të dëmtonte konsumatorët në mbarë botën, ndërsa njëkohësisht do të reduktonte fitimet që financojnë luftën.

Evropa do të duhet të gjejë burime të tjera për t'u furnizuar me karburant duke përfshirë SHBA-të, Lindjes e Mesme dhe Indinë./ VOA
