"We will respect the citizen's vote and reflect"/ Haradinaj

The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has reacted to the results of the early parliamentary elections.

In his post on social media, Haradinaj states that this result resolves the institutional impasse, but does not solve the problems and concerns of citizens.

He also says that they will respect the citizen's vote but will also reflect on the party's internal processes.

Full reaction:

Throughout this campaign period, we have been faced with numerous concerns from citizens, ranging from the energy collapse, the stagnation in Euro-Atlantic integration processes, especially in NATO, the decline in capital investments throughout the country and the abandonment of all major projects, the enormous increase in the cost of living and the stagnation of salaries, to the mass exodus of young people from Kosovo.

The result of these elections resolves the institutional impasse, but I fear that it does not resolve the problems and concerns of the citizens. Kosovo will be weakened internally and externally, and its enemies will win!

The result is what it is and we will respect the vote of the citizen but we will also reflect on our internal processes. For us, the elections will end this spring, with elections within the Alliance at all levels and with our re-establishment.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank all voters, AAK activists and everyone else from every capacity and affiliation, especially my colleagues from List 129 with whom we competed in a battle that was not at all easy and at an inconvenient time.
