Forty-seven police officers were injured by the attacks of protesters against the French proposal in Skopje, North Macedonia. 11 police officers were seriously injured, while two of them are in the most serious condition.

The injuries occurred when the protesters threw firecrackers, smoke bombs, various hard objects, stones towards the police and the Assembly, where numerous material damages were also caused.

There are also injured among the protesters, while about ten of them have already been arrested.

Situata u përshkallëzua kur një grup me maska të zeza në fytyrë hyri në mesin e turmës dhe e theu kordonin policor dhe sulmoi policinë me sende të forta.

Partia opozitare maqedonase, VMRO DPMNE ka thënë se protestën e kanë përshkallëzuar provokatorë të dërgura nga pushteti.

Ndërsa, pushteti dënoi VMRO DPMNE-në dhe dhunuesit për incidentet e shkaktuara në protestë.

Përshkallëzimi i situatës filloi në momentin kur protestuesit thyenë xhamat e Ministrisë së Jashtme dhe kërkuan dorëheqjen e ministrit Bujar Osmani dhe në pankartat e tyre, emri i tij ishte deformuar në Bugar Osmani.

Më pas, ata marshuan drejt godinës së parlamentit maqedonas ku goditën me sende të forta kordonin policor që ishte vendosur në hyrje të ndërtesës.

The protesters are demanding that the Macedonian government reject the European Union's proposal, known as the French proposal, to start membership negotiations.
