The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora in Montenegro has announced the entry into force of a new law, starting today.

It is learned that all children under the age of 18 can no longer cross the Kosovo-Montenegro border with only a birth certificate, but must be equipped with a valid travel document.

"The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications informs all the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo that even children under the age of 18 must be equipped with a valid travel document for the border crossing in Montenegro.

The decision on the entry into Montenegro of all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, including minors, only with valid travel documents, is already in force", announces the MPDJ.

Meanwhile, we remind you that Montenegro suspended the previous decision and blocked the travel of minors from Kosovo with birth certificates./ BA - CNA.al
