24th anniversary of the Stagova massacre/ President Osmani: Efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice continue

The 24th anniversary of the Serbian genocide in Stagovë of Kaçanik was remembered today by the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani.

Osmani has stated that the purpose of that massacre was clear: ethnic cleansing and extermination of the Kosovar people.

She was persistent when she said that the effort to bring the perpetrators of that monstrous event to justice is permanent.

"24 years ago, the paramilitary forces of the genocidal regime of Serbia, in the village of Stagovë in Kaçanik, killed 13 inhabitants of the village and burned half of the houses. The barbaric goals of the criminal regime were evident: extermination and ethnic cleansing. The memory of the martyrs of Stagova is permanent, as is the continuous effort to bring the perpetrators of the crimes to justice," said Osmani./ CNA.al
