In February 2024, the show "Stop" made an observation in some 9-year-old schools of the capital for the sale of unsafe food on the school railings. After 10 months we come back to see what has changed and see that no action has been taken. In September 2023, former ministers Taulant Balla and Evis Kushi promised to expand the security perimeter for schools, but these measures remained only on paper.

From today's observation, it appears that students are allowed out of schools, or street vendors are allowed to sell food through the railings. Among the many schools that the show "Stop" saw was "Gjon Buzuku", where the students came out of the railings unconcerned by the presence of the teachers or the guard of the institution.

Experts Ndriçim Mehmeti, the head of Social Workers, and Mirgit Vataj talk about school security, maintaining the perimeter, food inside the educational premises and what measures should be taken.

This is a very important moment, starting from school, the part of children's awareness. The officers of the children's schools must be very attentive, so if they see that inside the schools within the perimeter or near the perimeter of the schools there are street traders, or shops and markets, who trade, they must report them, so they must be in their focus and the issue of energy drinks," said Mirgit Vataj.
