CNA has discovered another character from wiretaps in Durrës prison , who is also mentioned in the court decision revealed by Erion Bani regarding the investigations conducted by SPAK prosecutors into the assets of Mayor Erion Veliaj, his wife Ajola Xoxa and his family members.

The name mentioned in the wiretaps is precisely Olsi Efthimi.

On February 22 of this year, Mayor Erion Veliaj speaks with his wife Ajola Xoxa.

In the communication, Erion Veliaj also tells Ajola about Ols Efthimi, about whom he tells her why Mandi (Ajola's former driver) should ask Ols when we are going out, when we are going to Qerret , when you are going to go upstairs, when you are going downstairs, but Ajola Xoxa tells him that he has been talking about the terrace he was fixing and asks him what kind of conversation he is having with me.

But why is Erion Veliaj nervous about the mention of Olsi Efthim?

Olsi Efthimi is precisely the person who has been busy fixing up the Veliaj couple's villa in Qerret, a villa which he denies and bills to his late father-in-law.

While Erioni tried to lie about the villa in Qerret, leaked cell phones and the court decision, which CNA previously reported, indicate that Ajola Xoxa was in Qerret in 2020. This is also shown by the communications that Ajola's driver exchanged with Olsi Efthim, the person who was in charge of the works at the villa.

" Citizen Armand Manahasa explains, among other things, that from February 2019 to November 2021 he was employed as a personal driver for citizen Ajola Xoxa. He knows this citizen through her father, Arben Xoxa, who died in February 2019. Citizen Armand Manahasa explained that he accompanied citizen Ajola Xoxa, in addition to her house at 'Kodra e Diellit' and the offices at "Sky Tower", also in the village of Qerret, to a villa within the "Marea" complex. The declarant states that he began accompanying citizen Ajola Xoxa and her mother in Qerret, to the complex in question, in the period 2019-2020. Also, on several occasions he accompanied her cleaner, named Ela. The declarant states that he often transported personal household items as well as various clothes to the villa within the complex.

Asked about a message exchanged with citizen Olsi Efthimi on 16.07.2020, where he addresses him by asking "Are you going to Qerret today?", to which Olsi Efthimi replies "No, we won't go because it's his birthday", the declarant states that the communication was made with this citizen because he occasionally associated with Ajola Xoxa, and to his knowledge he (Olsi Efthimi) went to the villa in Qerret, as he dealt with its furnishings, work and other aspects. Asked if he had been inside the apartment of citizen Ajola Xoxa, the declarant states that he had never been. The declarant added that the apartment was located on the second floor of the residence, while on the other floor above - the floor where Ajola lived, she was carrying out work which was monitored by citizen Olsi Efthimi" , the investigative file states.

In the wiretaps made in Durrës prison, it is clearly seen that Veliaj reacts indignantly as to why Olsi Efthimi should communicate with Ajola's former driver./ CNA
