A video received by the editors of Fiks Fare showed that in the mouth of "Matkeqe" the channel that discharges from the Tale-Lezhë Reservoir to the coast of Tale, as well as the water supply of the lagoon, is blocked with inerts.

Residents say that they are the same people who bring inerts and block the canal with the intention of crossing to the other side of the lagoon. Interventions are made at night because there are no environmental guards at that time.

Fix's camera this time filmed another pile of inerts thrown into the channel, occupying more than half of its space, to make it possible to pass from one side of the lagoon to the other. The dumping of inerts appeared to be fresh, as the tracks of heavy tonnage vehicles were visible in the sand.

A resident of that area says that those remains had been standing on the side of the canal for two years, but only 4 days ago the remains were seen in the canal. After this finding, the journalists notified AdZM and IKMT Lezhë. The Director of IKMT said that they were not informed about this case, but that it should be managed and maintained by AdZM.

The AdZM specialist said that these inerts were found on April 11 in the early morning by himself and the environmental guard. He says that the protection of this area is done only during daylight hours as it is difficult at night. He also says that this channel has been blocked two more times in a very short time from one another.

When asked by journalists who can block it so often, he says that he is not aware, because they have not found anyone on the ground and that the Lezhë Water and Sewer Drainage Board is responsible for cleaning this channel, where the director of this institution said Fiks journalists that a few days ago on March 24, 2023 the office received a request from a citizen Emanule Gjura, where the latter requested that a bridge be built on that channel to create access to his property in protected area, inside the lagoon.

Together with this request, the property registration certificate dated March 16, 2023 was made available to the director of the drainage board. Fran Mati, the director of the drainage board, says that he has not given the citizen an answer, as he is not in his flocks. Mr. Mati also states that this is an issue that cannot be resolved by the local authorities but by the government, as it concerns a private property on state land.

Since the Kune-Vain lagoon and the "Matkeqë" gorge are under the administration of AdZM Lezhë, the journalists directed you to this institution where the director Mr. Kreshnik Toni said that that area is guarded by employees only during daylight hours, because they do not have enough staff.
