The candidate of the Democratic Party for the Municipality of Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, during a conversation with citizens and lovers of four-legged friends, denounced the Municipality, which claims to have spent 1.2 billion lek on the sterilization of dogs, but in fact, according to him, this was not done.

Through a post on social networks, Kelliçi writes that the Municipality is actually killing and poisoning street dogs, promising that this massacre will stop with the arrival of Kelliçi as the head of the Municipality.

The municipality claims to have spent about 1.2 billion ALL in the years 2016-2019 for the sterilization of street dogs. These were fictitious procurements, because in fact the municipality applies murder, mass poisoning and not sterilization.

The cost of neutering a dog has been abusively billed up to 8 times higher than the estimated price.
