"Defender Europe '25" exercise officially begins
The "Defender Europe '25" exercise has officially begun. ...

This Tuesday, tributes are being held in honor of renowned scholar and historian Artan Lame at the "Encyclopedic Book" hall, near the Academy of Sciences in Tirana. Lame passed away on May 23, after several heart problems.
Family, friends, colleagues, politicians, well-known figures from many fields, as well as many citizens, are present at the tribute.
After the tributes, his body will be taken to his final resting place in the Sharra cemetery.
Artan Lame was born in Tirana in 1967. He was an Albanian publicist, opinion leader and collector, researcher of Albanian history, and civil society activist for the protection of Albanian cultural heritage.
Lame held several public positions, as follows:
1999-2000: Director of Cultural Heritage at the Ministry of Culture.
2000-2002: Deputy Mayor of Tirana Municipality.
2002-2005: Deputy Minister of Territory and Tourism.
2013-2019: General Director of ALUIZNI (Agency for Legalization, Urbanization and Integration of Informal Areas). 2019-2023: General Director of ASHK (State Cadastre Agency). /CNA
