A serious event took place today in Tirana, where the journalist Kastriot Myftaraj ended his life, throwing himself from the fourth floor of the building where he lived.

The event happened around 12:55, in the "Ali Demi" neighborhood.

But who was Kastriot Myftaraj?

Kastriot Myftaraj was an Albanian publicist, journalist and analyst.  

He was born in Korça in 1966.

Myftaraj worked for a while as an assistant judge in the Court of Korça and then as a correspondent in several daily newspapers in Tirana, starting with newspaper 55, Rilindja Semokratike, newspaper Sot, etc.  

In 1997, he left Korça, after being threatened.

After moving to Tirana, he published several books, while he is known as a journalist and publicist, conspiracist.

He was a collaborator in several media and portals.

Kastriot Myftaraj has been part of several Albanian screens. For a long time he was part of Arian Cani's show on TV Klan, while recently for several years he was part of Ora Nea's screen, with his show "Iu flet Moska".

Myftaraj was arrested a few years ago, for an article against the ambassador of the European Union in Tirana, at that time, Vlahutin.

Kastriot Myftaraj, a tough and conspiratorial character, was in the capital's media market for 25 years./ CNA.al
