SPAK requests the Assembly to lift Balluk's immunity/ Here's when the Mandates Council is expected to meet

The Council on Rules of Procedure, Mandates and Immunity is expected to meet on Friday, December 19, at 10:30 am, to review the Special Prosecution's request regarding Belinda Balluku.

SPAK's request to the Assembly to lift Balluk's immunity was filed today.

The request was submitted to the Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Peleshi, who immediately forwarded it for review to the Council on Rules of Procedure, Mandates and Immunity, informing the MP and the Deputy Prime Minister, who is also the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy.

The Council is expected to review the request and then draft a report, recommending its approval or rejection, which will then be distributed to MPs for review. / CNA
