They were distributing drugs in areas of Tirana/ Tirana Court leaves 21 arrested

The Tirana court has ordered the security measure of "prison arrest" for 21 of the 22 people arrested two days ago. The arrests were made after a crackdown on a criminal group that was selling various types of narcotics in areas of Tirana.

The security measure "arrest in prison" was assigned to the suspects Renaldo Dalipi, Engelbert Pjetri, Armandi Hajdini, Olsi Mici, Fatjon Cela (Çela), Xhon Boci, Laert Murataj, Artan Pullazi, Erald Sina, Gentjan Vercani, Valerjos Bushi, Olkid Hajdari, Dylber Alijaj, Angjelos Mema, Majdi Musa, Jurgen Hekurani, Erdison Gjella, Abdurahman Bollati, Klodian Rrucaj, Indri Nakaj and Genti Kraja.

Meanwhile, suspect Blerim Mali was given a more lenient sentence due to family circumstances, as he had to take care of his blind mother and paralyzed brother.

During the hearing to determine the security measure, the prosecutor in the case told the court that the suspects' actions were documented through simulated purchases./CNA
